I actually carry a 4500 cu/in back pack that may fit a torso… so you might be SOL. What you can do instead is to go on a crazy masochistic streak, sign up to teach in an intense academic program in the subcontinent in a MUSLIM country and then every three or four months you’re blessed with a vacation like this. It’s sorta worth it.
